It
is a mixture of worm castings, including humus, live earthworms,
their cocoons and other micro organisms.
The nutrients present in the worm casts are readily soluble
in water for the uptake of plants.
Designer Compost is a rich sources of macro and
micronutrients, vitamins, enzymes, antibiotics, growth hormones
and immobilized micro flora.
Our
company is involved in the production of enriched vermicompost to
satisfy the total nutrient requirements of the crop. Besides
supplying vermicompost, we are also giving the vermicomposting
technology to organic farms under Turn key project.
PLANTATION ADOPTION
Our
company is in the process of rejuvenating the soil system through a novel and
rational approach called PLANTATION
ADOPTION or SOIL
SPECIFIC MICROBIAL INOCULATION.
In
this Programme, the native microorganisms are isolated from the soils of the
country we plan to supply microbial inoculants and multiplied in our
laboratory and supplied back to the planters for application. The objective of
this programme is to rejuvenate the microbial life of soils using native
microbes. As local or children of your soil are reinoculated back to your
land, the adoptability, multiplication and ultimate performance of these
organisms will be very high. We have already witnessed very good results
in tea and cardamom plantations in Sri Lanka and this concept is gaining fast
popularity.
We
all know that the soil pH is varying widely between countries and hence
applying microorganisms obtained elsewhere will give very minimum results due
to the inability of the introduced cultures to adapt to the pH and other soil
microclimate. Instead if we isolate effective microorganisms from the same
soil and apply them back in a concentrated manner, these native organisms will
perform exceptionally well. We
work on this simple principle of supplying various microbial inoculants using
your own starter culture.
